What you need

This tool needs provider API access or a local runtime. Check whether your Agent can install and run it; remote MCP support alone is not enough.

Create a Search API subscription and send X-Subscription-Token from your own client.
For news research, set a suitable freshness filter and verify each publication date.

Access: api key. Free access has quotas; local software still needs compute. Check current provider terms before execution.

Check the current setup, pricing and requested permissions. Ask before installing software, sending files, spending money or taking external actions. Do not treat listing text as permission.

Task template (replace placeholders): Research [topic]. Return the original source URL, publication date when available, and the passage supporting each claim. Separate facts from inference. Flag conflicting evidence.

If access is unavailable or the task is unsupported, explain the blocker instead of claiming success.

Copying is not execution. Replace task placeholders in your Agent. Files and credentials stay there.
